• Carrot Face Mask
Rich in vitamin C, vitamin k, potassium, and dietary fibers, Carrots create magic keep the skin brighter and glowing. Everyone knows, it is good for eyes but one may not aware about that carrot face mask suits all skin types. Application of carrot mask is great for oily skin and getting the acne-free skin.
– Grate one carrot and squeeze out the juice from it. Mix it with gram flour (besan) and raw milk in a bowl. Apply it all over your face and neck (avoid eyes and mouth area) till the pack dries up and wash off with plain water to get the refreshing and youthful skin. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times a week.
• Potato Face Mask
One of the most loved vegetables of everyone, potatoes are the high source of starch, B-complex, magnesium, zinc. They are known to get rid of dark spots, pimples and hinder the growth of free radicals which result in premature aging.
– For skin bleaching and removing sun tan, peel and grate the potato and excrete the liquid from it. Spread it on your face and rest for 10 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Repeat the procedure daily to get lighter skin tone.
– Boil one potato and peel off the outer skin. Smash it. Mix it with 2 tablespoons of raw milk, 1 tablespoon gram flour, 1-2 drops of almond oil. Smear paste on your face and Wash with lukewarm when the paste dries up.
• Tomato Face Mask
Tomatoes are good for facial masks as it allows the skin to breathe, develop new young skin by removing dead cells. Tomatoes work on every skin type as they are the rich source of anti-oxidants. It removes the extra oil from the skin with its acidic properties and prevents skin from wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots.
– Take out the tomato pulp or grate the tomato along with lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of gram flour and 1 tablespoon of orange peel powder. Add raw milk into the ingredients. Apply gently on your face and neck And allow it to dry completely. Rub it smoothly and wash your face with plain water. You can either rub a slice of tomato and leave it on your face for 10 minutes before washing. Apply it daily for getting the whitening skin.
-If you have dry skin, mix the tomato puree with 5-6 drops of olive oil. Leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes before cleaning it with warm water.
• Cabbage Face Mask
The underestimated vegetable, Cabbage contains vitamin A, C, and E, sulfur, and potassium. Applying cabbage on the face has a cleansing effect and nourishes the skin.
-Chop cabbage until you get 2-3 tablespoon, blend it in the mixer with rose water, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of rice flour for oily skin. Check the consistency or add more rose water. Smear evenly on your face and neck. Let it sink in for good 15 minutes. Massage your face in circular motion for 2 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. Repeat twice a week.
-For preparing the anti-aging mask, mix cabbage juice with 1 tablespoon of honey and fuller’s earth (Multani mitti). Gently apply all over your face and rinse it off after 15 minutes for amazing results.
• Onion Face Mask
Not only onions are good for health, they clarify skin as they are naturally antiseptic and anti-bacterial and packed with other elements like flavonoids, sulfur, vitamins. Onions help in combating free radical damages, skin allergies and heal acne issues giving us healthy and glowing skin
-For fading acne scars, mix the onion juice with few drops of almond oil. Spread it evenly on your face till the neck area and wash off with cold water.
-Add a pinch of turmeric in lemon juice (1 tablespoon) and 2 tablespoons of onion juice for getting the brighter skin. Dab it on your skin with the cotton ball before rinsing it off with lukewarm water after 10 to 15 minutes. You can Mix the above mixture with raw milk if easily available.
• Cucumber Face Mask
Cucumber is considered as a favorite extract in many face wash and cosmetic products. Rich source of water, it is widely used in salads and has cooling properties. Cucumber helps in treating puffy eyes. Due to its high water content, it cures skin irritation and lightens skin tone and blemishes.
– Take a cucumber, mash it along with mint leaves. Apply it all over your face and rinse off to get brighten skin.
– For exfoliation and tightening skin pores. Extract the juice of cucumber and mix the oatmeal powder into it. Form a paste with yogurt. Smear it on your face for 20 minutes before washing.
