• Looks are temporary
One must remember the truth that looks are not permanent. One day you are having black hair, few years down the lane, you might experience grey hair. One day you are all rosy, other days you may have tanned skin. Do you want to spend your whole life wishing you should have looked like Katrina Kaif or Rekha? Or do you want to unfold simple joys life throws at you with every passing year? Obviously! You would like to choose the second one. Don’t worry..enjoy what age has in store for you.
• Nature/behaviour goes a long way
What if you have got the title of the most beautiful women on earth but don’t have anyone on your side to whom you want to share your joys and sadness. Looks are always secondary in comparison to nature. Your looks may attract someone towards you…but it’s your nature which will let them stick to you no matter how hard it gets. So, love everything about you.
• Love your own body so that others appreciate it
Unless you are at peace and happy with your body, how can you think others will appreciate your body. When we more connected within, it’s easier to connect with others and a pleasure to be around. You must be confident about your body so that others acknowledge it as well.
• Having a perfect body is imaginary
There is no such thing as a perfect body. Wishing to flaunt a perfect body is truly an unrealistic approach. You have two hands, a pair of legs, eyes, ears..while there are few people who can’t step on their feet. So, love your imperfect body with all your heart.
• You may be an example for others
Sometimes we don’t realize it but no wonder how much we hate ourselves for being skinny or fatty, there is a large group of woman who wants to become like us. You may have encountered your friends saying I wish I have a stomach like you so that I can wear crop tops or maybe I have 4-5 kgs more so that this gown suits me. Never do complaint about your body. Choose to love it instead.
• Life is too short to worry about it
Believe it or not, life is too short to spend valuable time hating your body. There is a saying “life moves pretty fast..” the time you believe what you have was truly appreciable, you will miss it. Shift your focus to experience life rather than experiencing how you look. Life is not only about it..there is much more to it to observe and enjoy.
• There is no one like you
Don’t let other disrespect you for your body. Always keep in mind that there is no one like you. Although it’s human nature to get acceptance, but the more you feel calm with yourself, the happier you will from inside. Be comfortable in your skin..cherish what you have.
