Most parts of India are boiling at this time with heat waves and high temperatures. People are finding it difficult to deal with a temperature rising higher with each passing day. Is there any way to cool down body heat and prevent dehydration, heat stroke during the summer season? Yes, there are ways to protect yourself from the scorching summer heat. but how? we are going to find out very soon. Have a look at the article to know how you can beat the heat and confront summer with easy and effective ways.
To be able to live up to the extreme temperatures.
1) Have light and comfortable clothes made up of cotton and linens, preferably of light colors and wear fewer accessories. Go for Cap, Sunglasses, Umbrella..etc.
2) Have Plenty of water and fruits to keep the body hydrated and balanced. Nimbu-Pani is recommended.
3) If possible wear sunglasses and a cap to prevent your face and forehead from catching the heat wave or use an umbrella.
4) Say yes to ice cream as it keeps you cool during summer season.
5) Avoid cold drinks completely, not even are they a storehouse of bad chemicals and pesticides, the chilled cola would give you a sore throat also.
6) If possible, keep a pack of Glucon-D with you and keep on drinking it in short intervals.
7) Stay hydrated as much as you can, in the scorching sun we shed enough sweat that we don’t feel the need to *pee but discharging it is also essential.
8) Eat freshly cut salads like cucumbers, tomatoes etc which are rich in water content and have the right minerals required to keep your body cool in this summer
9) Don’t sit/be too close to the AC, direct contact with the cold AC air can be harmful if you are on a mixed climatic environment of hot and Cold.
10) If you are at a place where there is humidity then make sure that you hydrate yourself and use umbrella or cap to protect from heat.
11) If you are in a place where there is less humidity then you have a high chance of heat stroke, As a precaution keep Onion(I don’t know the reason, but it works) in your pocket to beat heat wave. Cover your face always even in evening.
12) Don’t go directly into Air condition while coming back from the heat. Settle for few times in shed and then go to Air condition or else sudden change in temperature can hurt you really bad.
13) Less roaming in afternoon. (Don’t misinterpret if you’re working in telecom company)
14) Park your vehicles in a shady area as it becomes possible to sit on it. Spray water on your seat before sitting on it if your vehicle is parked in under sunlight.
15) Spend some days at hill station or just fly away from India for few days.
16) Don’t drink liquids that contain alcohol or large amounts of sugar-these actually cause you to lose more body fluid. Also, avoid very cold drinks, because they can cause stomach cramps.
17) Hydrate yourself! Whether you’re thirsty or not, drink water frequently. It’s important to keep yourself hydrated. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of drinking water frequently.
