Everybody knows that life is indeed a blessing. Not everyone is lucky enough to survive for long, whereas many infants are killed in the womb by determining their gender. Poor lifestyle influences our physical and mental health. Needless to say, that our daily life habits affect our health and wellbeing. So, in order to take care of your health, you need to implement below-mentioned ways in your routine life.
1 Go to bed on time and wake up early in the morning. Make sure you get up ninety minutes before the sunrise every day.
2 Drink 2–3 glasses of lukewarm water.This lukewarm water can also be taken with lemon and honey for maximum benefit. Never take coffee or tea on an empty stomach.
3 At the time of urinating and excrement, tighten the teeth as this act makes your teeth stronger.
4 Fill your mouth with water early in the morning then sprinkle some cold water on your eyes. Clean the upper portion of mouth with your thumb. By doing this, you never face any nose, eye, ear and neck difficulty in your life.
5 Before taking bath, massage your thumb of toes with some drops of mustard oil. This habit makes your vision better. Walk on green grass without using footwear. Massage your entire body including toes and thumbs of feet with mustard oil once in a week.
6 Use Neem or Babul Datun (twig brush) for brushing your teeth in the morning and evening so that all the other food particles that are left in teeth are thrown out.
7 Mix the water with lemon while bathing as it helps you remove the bad odor of the body.
8 Everyday practice jogging, yogasanas, Pranayam etc regularly. Do, Pranayam to get rid of all kinds of ailments and keeping mental and physical health intact and to achieve tremendous self-confidence.
9 Take fibre content, sprouting seeds, fruits, Dalia, fresh fruit juices, raw vegetables.
10 After finishing the meal, sit in vajrasan for 10 minutes. If it is a possible walk for a while, after having your dinner.
11 Take at least 8–10 glasses of water(2.5 to 3 litres). It flushes out toxin out from your body and keeps your skin hydrated and younger looking.
12 Keep your back straight while you sit. Whenever you sit on the floor, keep some support to your back.Never bite nails with your teeth.
13 Do not drink water while having food as it affects digestion process. Take water half an hour before you have a meal and half an hour after having a meal.Drink water gulping slowly.
14 The vegetarians easily digest food when the food is eaten after chewing it. Stop eating fast foods. Shun cool drinks, smoking, liquor and non-vegetarian food.
15 Take your food in lesser quantity. Do not eat too much. Do not live to eat. Your stomach should be filled half part with meals, one-fourth part is left for the water and the remaining one-fourth part should be left for the air. Remember, your Body is a temple, not a graveyard.
16 Drink water always in sitting posture. If the water is taken in a standing position, rheumatism (vata disease) attacks.
17 Have meal always in sitting position. Chew well and eat. At the time of eating do not speak to anybody. It is necessary to keep silence while eating. Concentrate your mind only on eating. Do not see T.V. while eating food.
18 Before having meals, pray to God. Assume whatever you eat, it is the gift of the God.
19 Take leafy vegetables and salads as much as possible. Don’t consume many cool or many hot things as they are harmful for the digestion. Don’t use chilly, spices in food items. Have seasonal fruits to maintain good health. Don’t have fruits after finishing the meal but You may take them separately before a meal.
20 After having the meal, go to urinate. never eat ice cream after having a meal.
21 Have dinner two hours before you go to bed. Make it a routine to walk 2 KM, after having dinner. Don’t go to be a bed, immediately after finishing the meal. Make a habit to sleep without using a pillow to strengthen the heart and mind.
22 Use nose to breathe. The supreme lord gave mouth to eat. Don’t breathe through the mouth.
23 Wash vegetables well before use and then peel them off. Use pulses along with husk.
24 Fast for a day in a week to cleanse the body. Drink water only whenever it is necessary.
25 Don’t stop the pressure of urine, excretion or sneezing. Such acts make the system ill.
26 Don’t use them too much smooth bed to sleep. Dunlop beds are harmful to health.
27 Speak if it is necessary and be conscious about what you speak. You should concentrate on yourself while sitting in a seclusive place, analyzing your deeds and acts and your response to the situation in the evening times. Practice Asthanga yoga every day. Never cover your face while you sleep. See that air flow is in good condition in your bedroom. If you sleep on the left side, right side breath is activated which is helpful in digestion.
28 Go to bed at 10 O’ clock in the night and get up at 4 in the morning. 6 hours sleep is good to maintain good health. Don’t nap ever in the daytime leaving summers.
29 You may keep your head towards East and South directions while sleeping. North and west directions are dangerous to life while sleeping.
30 Drink pure water and use fresh edible things to keep health in good condition. Otherwise, their contamination leads to infection and other diseases.
31 Intoxicating drinks are risky for health. They harm you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Your whole family may be ruined.
32 Always be happy, pleasant, helpful and joyful. When you enjoy what you do, the result would never cause for a disappointment to you. Hopeful actions succeed while hopeless actions develop suicidal tendency. Cheerfulness is the key to health. Do laughing exercise every day. Laughing is the real life.
33 You may yield quickly to laziness and extravagant way of living. Hence you should never welcome such negative attitude in your life.
