• The first thing which should be taken care before the application of henna is that you should satisfy with your mehndi artist. Don’t compromise because someone has suggested or compelled you to go to that artist. Go through his/her work, see the designs or the booklet provided by him and then finalize for your special day.
• Go for natural Mehandi. Ask your Mehndi designer if he prepares a Mehndi paste by himself. Some brands cause allergies due to the reaction which may harm your skin.
• Wash your hands and feets with natural cleanser (paste of gram flour, orange peel, and rosewater) to remove the dirt and pat them dry.
• Ask the things the Mehndi designer needs like waste cloth, cotton, scissors or newspaper before sitting down for applying Mehndi for your wedding as it may disturb you and him. Ask your besties or your cousins to be there with you to help during the application.
• Let your manicure and pedicure done a day before applying bridal Mehndi ceremony otherwise, it will fade away the color of your Mehndi. Moreover, you will feel more confident showing your beautiful hands and feets.
