The architecture of the temple resembles that of Badrinath temple. There are three Kunds named Rudrakund, Vishnukund and Brahmakund which is also visited by devotees. According to anecdotes, the temple is acknowledged as a marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Brahma performed all the duties of the Priest and Lord Vishnu took all the responsibilities of a brother.
